The 2007
Baltimore Improv Festival featured 16 acts from 6 states. They
were short-form, long-form, puppet improv, musical improv, and
experimental improv. This year we want to host all of that again--and
more!
The 2007 festival acts
performed for nearly 1000 people, many of whom were attending their
first-ever improv show! Almost every show sold out, and some were
standing-room only. And holy cow, was it HOT! Not to worry: we'll be in
a bigger venue
this year (about 200 seats), with lots of cold AC!
The Baltimore Improv Festival is produced by
the Baltimore Improv
Group (BIG), a 501(c)3 non-profit group with an
artistic mission: advancing the art of improvisational theater in the
greater Baltimore area through public performances and classes.
