The Baltimore Improv Festival is produced by the Baltimore Improv Group, a non-profit 501(c)(3) group with an artistic mission: advancing the art of improvisational theater in the greater Baltimore area through public performances and classes.

We do this by showcasing a variety of local, regional, and nationally-known improv groups in shows and workshops in Baltimore. Proceeds from performance ticket sales will fund BIG’s artistic mission and will also help cover the cost of future Baltimore Improv Festivals.

BIG has performed at the Dirty South Improv Festival, the Philadelphia Improv Festival, the DC Comedy Fest, and in 2007 sent an apprentice team to the Chicago Improv Festival.
